Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers Off) - Sip Slowly trialled over the 425m from box eight, weight 30.6 kgs, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four . The time of the trial was 24:30, the greyhound won by a margin of 3.0 lengths. Sip Slowly was Cleared to race without blinkers.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr S Drummond, the trainer of Two Shillings, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Two Shillings last raced on 19 October 2016. Mr Drummond stated that the greyhound was new to his kennels. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Two Shillings trialled over the 425m from box one, weight 28.6 kgs, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four. The time of the trial was 24:30, the greyhound was beaten a margin of 7.75 lengths. Two Shillings was Cleared.
