Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Graham the trainer of Woodleigh Guy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Woodleigh Guy last raced on 09/12/16. Mr. Graham stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injury to both archillies tendons.
Zipping Foy, Woodleigh Guy and Okawa In Black were slow to begin. Miss Hanna Berry crossed to the outside soon after the start. Miss Hanna Berry, Smithers and Elite Cheeky collided soon after the start. Zipping Foy, Woodleigh Guy and Okawa In Black collided soon atter the start. Dinner Plain crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Miss Hanna Berry. Zipping Foy and Okawa In Black collided on the first turn. Smithers and Woodleigh Guy collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds. Elite Cheeky and Okawa In Black collided in the back straight checking Okawa In Black. Woodleigh Guy and Elite Cheeky collided on the home turn. Optima Semper and Okawa In Black collided approaching the winning post.
