Better Beware and Implosion Liam collided soon after the start and again at the 250m mark.Linny Morris, Tricky Trey and Bojack Kahn collided at the 200m mark. Better Beware and Tricky Trey collided at the 150m mark, checking Tricky Trey. Bojack Kahn galloped on Tricky Trey at the 150m mark, severely checking Tricky Trey which stumbled and lost ground. Dozer Lad and Implosion Liam collided at the 100m mark.
Tricky Trey was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left gastrocnemius (calf) and right tensor fascia (triangle) muscles, and abrasions to the left calf. A seven-day stand down period was imposed.
