Stewards spoke to Mr. C.Bahen, the trainer of Lunar Eclipse regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lunar Eclipse last raced on 6th of February 2017 and is returning after a Right Stopper Bone Injury.

Zipping Simmo and Lunar Eclipse were slow to begin.  Lorimer Lad and Sundance Lad collided soon after the start.  Zipping Simo checked off Lunar Eclipse at the 250m mark, checking Bourbon An Kahn.  Bourbon An Kahn contacted the running rail at the 200m mark.  Zipping Simmo checked off Sundance Lad at the 50m mark, checking Zipping Simmo.

Earely Spring went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Doodle Bug Jay was slow to begin.  Shot To Glory and Judicial Man collided soon after the start.  Nitroniun and Shot To Glory collided at the 250m mark.  Early Spring checked off Shot To Glory approaching the 200m mark.  Magic Moon Dust and Like A Fancy collided several times approaching the winning post.

Nicky's Gift and Seaton Star were slow to begin.  Nicky's Gift, Seaton Star, Keisha's Fantasy and Mayfair Miss collided soon after the start.  Wadelock Venus and Wishing Angel collided soon after the start.  Miss Innings raced wide from soon after the start until the 200m mark.  Seaton Star and Mayfair Miss collided at the 200m mark, checking Mayfair Miss.  Seaton Star crossed to the outside at the 150m mark, checking Keisha's Fantasy.

Bright New Shine and Rocky Savioli were slow to begin.  Rocky Ravioli and Wrecker One collided soon after the start and again at the 300m mark. Autocrat and Hit The Highway collided soon after the start and again at the 300m mark, checking Rusty Memories.  Rusty Memories and Hit The Highway collided several times from the 250m mark until approaching the 150m mark, checking Hit The Highway.  Bright New Shine and Splash Of Blue collided at the 150m mark.  It's All Over checked off Autocrat approaching the winning post.

 Ms J.Hopkin's,trainer of Midnight Secret declared a new weight of 27.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Midnight Secret last raced at 26.6kg.

Midnight Secret and Price Is Right were slow to begin.  Price Is Right checked off Midnight Secret soon after the start.  Wadelock Mindy crossed to the outside soon after the start, checking Osanna and Face To Face.  Wadelock Mindy, Osana and Face To Face collided at the 300m mark and again at the 250m mark.  Osanna and Face To Face collided at the 150m mark.

Price Is Right was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Acquainted and Apatchy Racer were slow to begin.  Vista Bandit and Apatchy Racer collided soon after the start.  Apatchy Racer and Major Curly collided soon after the start.  Vapour Lee checked off Milburn Gold at the 250m mark, checking Acquainted and We Froff Dat.  Liam and Major Curly collided at the 200m mark.  Acquainted and Vapour Lee collided several times from the 150m mark until the 100m mark.  Liam and Vista Bandit collided approaching the winning post.

We Froff Dat was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left achilles, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Earely Thunder was quick to begin.  Louie Lasagna and Cailah Shakey collided soon after the start.  Cailah Shakey and Kylie's Boy collided at the 300m mark.  Kylie's Boy and Alpha Aion collided at the 250m mark.  Kylie's Boy, Alpha Aion and Galloping Benny collided at the 125m mark.
