Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. C.Bahen, the trainer of Lunar Eclipse regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lunar Eclipse last raced on 6th of February 2017 and is returning after a Right Stopper Bone Injury.
Zipping Simmo and Lunar Eclipse were slow to begin. Lorimer Lad and Sundance Lad collided soon after the start. Zipping Simo checked off Lunar Eclipse at the 250m mark, checking Bourbon An Kahn. Bourbon An Kahn contacted the running rail at the 200m mark. Zipping Simmo checked off Sundance Lad at the 50m mark, checking Zipping Simmo.
A sample was taken from Lorimer Lad - the winner of the event.
Bourbon An Kahn was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a minor laceration to the left hock. No stand down period was imposed.
