Stewards spoke to handler Mr J.Formosa of Chelsea Drogba regarding the frequency of racing that the greyhound has had. Mr Formosa stated that the greyhound recovers well after racing and that there is no other galloping from race to race.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Alannah's Gem trialled over the 425mts from box 3, weight 26.6kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.49, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.25L. Alannah's Gem was Cleared. 

Trial Two

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Tolson, the trainer of So Funny regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  So Funny last raced on 2nd October 2016. Mr. Tolson stated that the greyhound has had a change of kennel from interstate. So Funny trialled over the 425mts from box 1, weight 29.2kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.78, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of  15.25L. So Funny was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Speedy Ryder trialled over the 425mts from box 3, weight 37.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.78, the greyhound won by a margin of 6.25L. Speedy Ryder was Cleared.
