A pre race sample was taken from Wishing Angel.
Peter Knocka was slow to begin. Pink Floyd and Catcha Nugget collided soon after the start. Wishing Angel crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Colombian Coffee. Pink Floyd and Catcha Nugget collided at the 300m mark, checking Catcha Nugget. Colombian Coffee checked off Pink Floyd at the 200m mark. My Girl Josiah and Wishing Angel collided several times from the 50m mark until the winning post.
