Steward's Report
Avatar Sandee was slow to begin. Bear's Gold crossed to the rail on the first turn. Jack's Rainbow and Hollywood Jones collided approaching the home turn. All Inn Miles raced wide on the home turn. Hollywood Jones raced wide in the home straight. Jack's Rainbow marred the running of Rhyan's Request approaching the winning post.
Jack's Rainbow was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right groin injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
Bear's Gold was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn nail. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Ward, handler of the greyhound Jack's rainbow regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Jack's Rainbow with marring. Mr. Ward pleaded guilty to the charge, Jack's Rainbow was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Collins the handler, regarding the direction that the greyhound Ryhan's Request be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.
