A pre-race sample was taken from Bracket Creep.
Zipping Gator and Ok Jake were slow to begin. Bracket Creep crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Allen Jersey and Maleune. Maleune and Bracket Creep collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Nolen, Maleune and Bracket Creep collided on the first turn causing Maleune to fall and race wide as a result. Zipping Nolen and Bracket Creep collided approaching the second turn. Zipping Nolen checked off Allen Jersey on the second turn checking Bracket Creep, severely checking Zipping Nolen. Zipping Gator and Bracket Creep collided on the third turn checking both greyhounds. Bracket Creep faltered and lost ground as a result.
Maleune was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left hip and right forearm, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
