Steward's Report

Zipping Moore was slow to begin.  Flash Mikado, Zipping Foy and It's A Lie collided soon after the start checking Zipping Foy.  Flash Mikado and Mella Moo collided on the first turn causing Mella Moo to fall checking Flash Mikado and It's A Lie.  Zipping Foy and It's A Lie collided on the home turn.  Dashing Max eased in the home straight.

Mella Moo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Brown, the trainer of the greyhound Dashing Max regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Dashing Max with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Brown pleaded guilty to the charge.  Dashing Max was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
