Steward's Report
This event was hand started due to a malfunction with the boxes.
A pre-race sample was taken from Surefire. Surefire and Zero Knockin' were slow to begin. Burrawonga Kevan and Surefire collided on the first turn. Surefire and Azurite collided approaching the third turn. Azurite and Who Took Johny collided entering the home straight.
Judges inadvertantly semophored the numbers 5 and 2 as a dead heat. The numbers were corrected to 5 first , 2 second and 1 and 8 a dead heat for third place.
