Platinum Rift was quick to begin. Droppin' Plates was slow to begin. Tat Toby and Acola Rimfire collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Acola Rimfire and Droppin' Plates collided approaching the first turn. Peggy Olsen and Soeztoc collided on the first turn severely checking Soeztec and Goodbye Sam. Peggy Olsen and Steel collided approaching the home turn checking Peggy Olson. Tat Toby checked off Peggy Olson on the home turn. Droppin' Plates raced wide on the home turn.
