Victoria Rose and Dyna Yatul collided soon after the start. Gotham Queen and Maximum Melva collided soon after the start. Bluey Fields and Dyna Yatul collided approaching the first turn, checking Bluey Fields and Maximum Melva. Alpha Nyx and Dyna Yatul collided on the first turn. Alpha Nyx and Never Satisfied collided several times in the home straight.
Alpha Nyx was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards issued a warning to Mr A Varchione, the trainer of Alpha Nyx regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
