Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mrs L Delbridge, the trainer of Hearing De Novo, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Hearing De Novo last raced on 26 December 2016. Mrs Delbridge stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a right back muscle injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Kate's Boy.
Kate's Boy was slow to begin. Fiery Chieftain and Bar King Buddy collided soon after the start. Fastnet Kahn, Hearing De Novo, Tai Chi Mini and Kate's Boy collided approaching the first turn, checking Hearing De Novo and Tai Chi Mini. Bar King Buddy and Hearing De Novo collided on the first turn. Fiery Chieftain raced wide on the home turn. Fiery Chieftain and Bar King Buddy collided approaching the winning post.
