Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr A.George, the trainer of Darra Ash regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Darra Ash last raced on 2nd December, 2016. Mr George stated that the greyhound was returning from having a corn on the front left toe.
A pre-race sample was taken from Groucho.
Quick Collision. Reality Thunder and Southwood Max collided soon after the start checking Southwood Max. Groucho, Stoppa Bus and Quick Collision and Southwood Max collided approaching the first turn checking Pyramid Flyer and Southwood Max. Jimmy Flash and Reality Thunder collided on the first turn checking Reality Thunder and Darra Ash. Pyramid Flyer and Reality Thunder collided approaching the home turn. Southwood Max, Pyramid Flyer and Darra Ash collided on the home turn.
Meeting Comments:-
Satisfactory Trial Results - Zero Knockin' trialled over the 500mts from box 3, weight 32.6kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 28.46, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4L. Zero Knockin' was Cleared.
Stewards spoke to Ms. A. Scott and witness Mr C Boseley in relation to a complaint from a Bendigo Greyhound Racing Club employee from the meeting conducted 27th January, 2017. After considering the evidence, Stewards charged Ms. Scott with a breach of GAR86(q) and issued her with a warning.
