Crump's Princess and Nikita's Marlow were slow to begin. Makikos checked off Crump's Princess approaching the first turn. Blitzen Bell and Nikita's Marlow collided on the home turn. Manzeene Man, Blitzen Bell and Nikita's Marlow collided in the home straight, checking Blitzen Bell. Makikos checked off Crump's Princess in the home straight.
Fabregas Lara was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right tensor fascia (triangle) muscle. A 28-day stand down period was imposed.
