Steward's Report
The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Predemonic and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 1:22PM due to weight variation (GAR 39). A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr Michael Ryan was fined the sum of $100.
A pre-race sample was taken from Roy Boy.
Riverdale Cocky was slow to begin. Merl's Blaze, Clavash and Duty Sheet collided on the first turn, checking Roy Boy. Duty Sheet checked off Merl's Blaze as that greyhound crossed to the running rail, causing Duty Sheet to race wide on the home turn.
