Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr F Tasca, the trainer of Wishing Angel regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Wishing Angel last raced on 6 November 2016. Mr Tasca stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being seasonal. Mr Tasca declared a new weight of 25.1 kgs for the greyhound. Wishing Angel last raced at 26.8 kgs.
Jai Jai Away and Graphite Jack were slow to begin. Ottis Bale, Wishing Angel and Caco Nut collided soon after the start. Vulcan Salute checked off Ottis Bale soon after the start. Caco Nut galloped on the heels of Remembering Rod approaching the first turn. Graphite Jack, Caco Nut and Remembering Rod collided on the first turn, checking Caco Nut. Jai Jai Away and Graphite Jack collided on the first turn, checking Jai Jai Away. Vulcan Salute and Graphite Jack collided approaching the home turn. Caco Nut and Jai Jai Away collided on the home turn.
