Steward's Report

Rosso and Norah Bale collided soon after the start. Fine Wine, Rosso and Norah Bale collided soon after the start, checking all three greyhounds. Crainy's Wish, Fine Wine, Rosso and Norah Bale collided soon after the start. Fine Wine and Rosso collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Rocketness pulled up approaching the first turn and failed to complete the course. Crainy's Wish checked off Monoak on the home turn. Norah Bale checked off Crainy's Wish entering the home straight. Hey Shaza Fozz and Crainy's Wish collided approaching the winning post, checking both greyhounds.

Stewards spoke to Mr Thomas Sharp, the trainer of the greyhound Rocketness regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Rocketnesswas vetted, and re-vetted following event ten. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a carpal sprain to the right wrist, a ten-day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Rocketness with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Sharp pleaded guiltyto the charge, Rocketness was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
