Steward's Report
An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Allen Boydy engaged in this event on 22/02/2017 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Lektra Flame, Allen Boydy and Dr. Compulsion were slow to begin.
Abed Bale crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Permafrost, Dr. Walter, Permafrost and Lektra Flame collided as a result. Dr. Walter contacted the running rail on the first turn. Rack Tap Rack and Abed Bale collided on the first turn checking Rack Tap Rack, Lektra Flame, Permafrost and causing Lektra Flame to gallop on the heels of Rack Tap Rack, Rack Tap Rack faltered and pulled up as a result. Dr. Walter and Lektra Flame collided on the second turn. Permafrost checked off Dr. Walter entering the back straight.
Rack Tap Rack was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left deltoid and left toe injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
