Young Henry was slow to begin. Young Henry and Allen Icarus collided soon after the start. Crackerjack Burn crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Soda Lad and Aston Bolero. Wadelock Latte, Dyna Shinko and Soda Lad collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Dyna Shinko and Young Henry collided entering the back straight. Harlon checked off Crackerjack Burn on the third turn. Soda Lad checked off Wadelock Latte on the third turn. Dyna Shinko and Allen Icarus collided on the home turn. Young Henry checked off Harlon on the home turn. Harlon and Crackerjack Burn collided in the home straight. Harlon and Aston Bolero collided in the home straight checking Aston Bolero. Aston Bolero and Young Henry collided approaching the winning post.
