Steward's Report

Stewards spoke to Mr K Burnett, trainer of the greyhound Berriedale Boy, which had not raced since 12 September 2016. Mr Burnett stated that the greyhound was returning from a right hock injury.

Berridale Boy and Extreme Magic were slow to begin. Myrniong Corner and Rockstar Troy collided soon after the start. Myrniong Corner checked off Royal Turbo on the third turn, causing Myrniong Corner to stumble.

Samples were taken from the placegetters - Matt Machine (1st) and Rockstar Troy (2nd).

Rockstar Troy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
