This meeting has been declared as heat affected - Outside temperature - 33 degrees, Kennel temperature - 17 degrees.

Blackpool Chuck was a late scratching at 4:48pm, due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer Mr L Kenyon was fined the sum of $100.

Night King and Honouring Percy were slow to begin.  Flawless Bling and Amigo collided soon after the start.  Our Turbo Boy and Honouring Percy collided on the first turn.  Night King and Amigo collided on the second turn and again entering the back straight.  Night King checked off Amigo on the third turn and lost ground as a result.

Wot Price Flash was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the right hindleg, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr T Noy was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Harvey Mills pursuant to GAR 33.

Reefton Treasure, Arden Emgrand and Fitz Tate were slow to begin  Krav Maga and Sassy Ginger collided soon after the start.  Sassy Ginger, Reefton Treasure, Electromagnetic, Arden Emgrand and Fitz Tate collided on the first turn, severely checking Electromagnetic, Arden Emgrand and Fitz Tate.

Stewards spoke to Mr K Burnett, trainer of the greyhound Berriedale Boy, which had not raced since 12 September 2016.  Mr Burnett stated that the greyhound was returning from a right hock injury.

Silverali, Are You and Warrion Warrior were slow to begin.  Silverali and Are You collided soon after the start.  Alpha Triton, Guillermo and Banjo Bomber collided soon after the start.  Silverali checked off Alpha Triton approaching the first turn and fell as a result.  Banjo Bomber checked off Warrion Warrior on the first turn, checking Alpha Triton.  Warrion Warrior and Guillermo collided on the third turn, checking Banjo Bomber.  Alpha Triton and Banjo Bomber collided approaching the home turn.
