Pre race samples were taken from Baroness Tiffie and Dyna Jonah.
Palm Tee and Drift Liner were slow to begin. Batty Allen and Baroness Tiffie collided soon after the start. Legend, Dyna Jonah, Batty Allen, Baroness Tiffie and Greysynd Chief collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Jonah and Baroness Tiffie. Dyna Jonah contacted the running rail on the first turn checking Palm Tee. Batty Allen and Greysynd Chief collided on the first turn checking Legend. Batty Allen and Greysynd Chief collided on the first turn checking Legend. Legend checked off Greysynd Chief approaching the second turn. Legend and Baroness Tiffie collided on the second turn severely checking both greyhounds. Palm Tee checked off Batty Allen on the home turn.
Legend was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right calf, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Dyna Jonah was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
