Pre-race samples were taken from Arby and Ring The Bell upon arrival the course, prior to kennelling.
Lee Brilliance, Cutting Edge and Unlawful Entry were slow to begin. Lee Brilliance, Cutting Edge, Charleston and Hard Bargain collided approaching the first turn checking Cutting Edge and Charleston. Lee Brilliance, Hard Bargain, Dance Craze and Arby collided on the first turn checking Lee Brilliance, Cutting Edge, Charleston, Dance Craze and Ring The Bell. Lee Brilliance checked off Dance Craze approaching the second turn checking Charleston and Ring The Bell. Hard Bargain and Arby collided approaching the second turn.
