S Stefanos was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration papers were produced for the greyhound Nitro Fantasy pursuant to GAR 33.
Nitro Fantasy was slow to begin. Trademark Bliss crossed to the rail soon after the start. Meg's Choice and Mallard collided at the 250m mark, checking Mallard, Gold Rush Dozer and Trademark Bliss. Coli's Girl and Gold Rush Dozer collided at the 200m mark, checking Coli's Girl, Trademark Bliss and Meg's Choice. Coli's Girl crossed to the outside at the 200m mark. Trademark Bliss and Gold Rush Dozer collided at the 150m mark. Meg's Choice galloped on the heels of Gold Rush Dozer at the 100m mark.
Coli's Girl was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted after race 4, it was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Stewards issued a warning to J Ugietta, the trainer of Coli's Girl regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at the 200m mark.
