Pursuant to GAR 104(6) Starter, Mr R. LeSueur did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Brad Hill Billy, Silverali and Resident Djay were slow to begin. Avatar Jet, Nymeria and Brad Hill Billy collided approaching the first turn. Gia and Brad Hill Billy collided entering the front straight. Nymeria and Gia collided on the third turn. Avatar Jet checked off Gia entering the back straight. Gia stumbled in the back straight and lost considerable ground. Gia tailed off as a result. Nymeria checked off Gold Vein approaching the fourth turn.
Gia was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
