Steward's Report
The first split was hand timed for this event and the run home time was unavailable.
Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Medcraft, the trainer of Larson regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Larson last raced on 21st June 2016. Mr. Medcraft stated that the greyhound was new to his kennels.
Mrs. P. Triaca, trainer of Spring As Sprung declared a new weight of 32.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Spring As Sprung last raced at 30.7kg.
Cosmic Wish and Monkey Year were quick to begin. larson and Lynlaw Andy were slow to begin. Redfin Fozz, Jarvis Maximus and Spring As Sprung collided soon after the start. Redfin Fozz and Jarvis Maximus collided approaching the first turn checking Jarvis Maximus. Jarvis Maximus and Lynlaw Andy collided approaching the home turn. Lippy Bale raced wide in the home straight. Redfin Fozz and Sping As Sprung collided approaching the winning post.
