Myalla Nietta and Hercules Morse were slow to begin.  Why Not Barrel, Farrah Bale, Miss Giblet and Jack Snapper collided soon after the start checking Miss Giblet and Farrah Bale.  Why Not Barrel and Jack Snapper collided on the first turn checking Jack Snapper.  Miss Giblet checked off Farrah Bale approaching the home turn.  Farrah Bale and Jack Snapper collided approaching the home turn checking Jack Snapper which raced wide as a result.  Myalla Five checked off Amore Nietta in the home straight.

Jack Snapper was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Sea Winds and Avatar Sandee were quick to begin.  Dr. Dynomite and So Sack Me were slow to begin.  So Sack Me checked off Lektra Oscar soon after the start.  So Sack Me, Sea Winds and Avatar Sandee collided on the first turn checking Sea Winds.  Sea Winds and Dr. Dynomite collided approaching the home turn.  Avatar Sandee and Lektra Oscar collided in the home straight.

Dr. Trojan was slow to begin.  Lektra Allan, Dixie Anne, Time Taker and Girder Fork collided soon after the start checking Dixie Anne and Time Taker.  Lektra Allan and Girder Fork collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Time Taker and Girder Fork collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Dixie Anne and Four Secrets collided in the home straight.

Time Taker was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to its right metatarsal. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Dr. Nelly was quick to begin.  Peggy Dooley and Move That Energy were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Alpha Hermes, Gigglepot and Peggy Dooley collided on the first turn checking Gigglepot.  Dr. Duez, Flying Merkel, Peggy Dooley, Alpha Hermes and Move That Energy collided approaching the home turn.  Alpha Hermes and Peggy Dooley collided approaching the home turn severely checking Alpha Hermes which contacted the running rail as a result.  Dr. Duez and Flying Merkel collided on the home turn.

Immortal Bear and Caustic Bale were quick to begin.  Immortal Bear, Quizmaster and Caustic Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Quizmaster and Caustic Bale.  Quizmaster and Immortal Bear collided on the home turn.

Twist Of Thunder was quick to begin.  Black Macoy and Mepunga Ledger were slow to begin.  Pen Shaw, Black Macoy and Dyna Lemmy collided on the first turn checking Black Macoy and Dyna Lemmy.

Stewards spoke to the representitive of the greyhound Mecha Bale, Ms. K Jordan regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between starts. Ms. Jordan stated the greyhound had been recovering from a cracked sesamoid.

Cosmic Coad and Hallibel Bale were quick to begin.  Andrej's was slow to begin.  Cosmic Medusa, Electro Bale, Cosmic Coad and Hallibel Bale collided on the first turn checking Cosmic Coad and Hallibel Bale.  Heaps Of Boloney and Mecha Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Mecha Bale.  Cosmic Coad, Hallibel Bale and Andrej's collided approaching the home turn severely checking Cosmic Coad which stumbled as a result.  Cosmic Coad and Mecha Bale collided in the home straight.  Cosmic Medusa and Duff Bale collided in the home straight checking Cosmic Medusa.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Delaroche, representitve for the greyhound Black Driftwood regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between starts. Mr. Delaroche stated that the greyhound was recovering from an injured scapula.

Eaton Bale was slow to begin.  Betty Baker and Pequeno Rayo collided soon after the start.  Saint Bale, Pendles Power and Pequeno Rayo collided on the first turn checking Saint Bale and Pequeno Rayo.  Eaton Bale and Saint Bale collided approaching the home turn.  Pequeno Rayo checked off Eaton Bale approaching the home turn.  Betty Baker and Saint Bale collided on the home turn.  Eaton Bale and Betty Baker collided in the home straight checking Betty Baker.

Fine Diner and Mumbles Murray were slow to begin.  Maisy Mac, Stop Moochin', We Are Geelong and Beckenbauer collided on the first turn checking Maisy Mac and We Are Geelong.  Beckenbauer and Stop Moochin' collided approaching the home turn.  Maisy Mac and We Are Geelong collided approaching the home turn severely checking We Are Geelong which stumbled as a result.  Stop Moochin' and Dr. Dawn collided approaching the home turn checking Dr. Dawn.  Beckenbauer checked off Dr. Dawn in the home straight.

We Are Geelong was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left hind webbing.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Strongbeth was quick to begin.  White Macoy checked off Dina Bale approaching the first turn.  Hugh Made Who and Jazz Apple collided on the first turn.  Buckle Up Nikki and Kaufman Bale collided approaching the home turn.

Meeting comments

Toby Toblerone which raced at Cranbourne on the 5th of August and left the track before before being vetted was subsequently vetted at tonights meeting and it was reported the greyhound had no apparent injury.
