Steward's Report
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Vinnie Black.
Kennel representative Mr. Ronald Rudd requested an early race endorsement for Vinnie Black. The On–Track Veterinarian completed an extensive examination prior to racing and found no evidence to support the request and deemed Vinnie Black fit to start. As such, the Stewards did not approve the early race request.
Eagle Tegan was quick to begin. Vinnie Black, Kate's Rift and Dream Big were slow to begin.
Vinnie Black raced wide entering the home straight. White Scotch and Dream Big raced wide in the home straight.
White Scotch (severely checked and subsequently fell in the catching pen) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left scapula fracture. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Eagle Tegan - the winner of the event.
