Borough Banker – Late scratching at 9:47am when trainer, Mr. Jonathon Malone reported the greyhound to have a toe injury (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Ancona.
Lektra Roger was quick to begin. Paw Linden, Lakeview Mitch and Paw Zoltin were slow to begin. Paw Zoltin raced wide on the home turn.
