Steward's Report
Good Odds Luigi and Pepper Pie were slow to begin. Whatever Thrill was very slow to begin.
Chloe's Fault (severely checked on the first turn), underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Awe Really underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. Ronald Winter regarding the behaviour of Awe Really in pulling up before the return gate and not entering the catching pen. The Stewards hold concerns that this poses an unnecessary safety issue for Awe Really, for other greyhounds in the race and staff that triage these types of incidents. After considering submissions from Mr. Winter, a warning was issued that further such instances of this nature may result in Awe Really being placed on a conditional satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 129.
