Kay Train was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Striking Bird was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left wrist and left triceps, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Lektra Burst, North Sea Miss and Charming Ally were slow to begin.  North Sea Miss and River Bling collided on the first turn checking North Sea Miss.  Forged and Magic Room collided on the first turn.  River Bling and Charming Ally collided approaching the second turn.  Lektra Burst raced wide approaching the winning post.

Morning Cruise and Roll 'Em Maggie were quick to begin.  Hatchet Bale and Cette Me Up collided soon after the start.  Roll 'Em Maggie and Malted collided on the first turn.  Will Be Back checked off Malted on the second turn and collided with Roll 'Em Maggie.  Hatchet Bale and Cette Me Up collided entering the back straight.  Dark Obsession checked off Will Be Back entering the back straight.  Roll 'Em Maggie, Dark Obsession and Lektra Bandit collided on the third turn.  Roll 'Em Maggie and Dark Obsession collided approaching the home turn checking Dark Obsession.  Cette Me Up checked off Hatchet Bale approaching the home turn.

Splash Mountain and Iyliss Bale collided soon after the start.  Loving Angels, Liam's Entity, Filius Flitwick, High Mission, Zigstar and Splash Mountain collided approaching the first turn checking Loving Angels, Liam's Entity, Filius Flitwick, High Mission and Zigstar.  Filius Flitwick checked off High Mission on the first turn.  Loving Angels and High Mission collided on the third turn checking High Mission.  Zigstar checked off Splash Mountain on the home turn and collided with Iyliss Bale.

Dyna Judas was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left triceps and right shoulder, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Pocket Kings was quick to begin.  Coota's Cazaly, Cruisy's Luck and Rosie's Crusade were slow to begin.  Coota's Cazaly crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Cruisy's Luck.  Hilltop Senorita and Our Murray Grey collided on the first turn and again on the second turn checking Our Murray Grey.  In This Way and Rosie's Crusade collided on the third turn checking Rosie's Crusade.  Our Murray Grey and Crusiy's Luck collided on the home turn.

Stewards issued a warning to Trainer of Cruisy's Luck, Mr M. Cauchi, regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing.
