Steward's Report
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Go Boy.
Mortolox was slow to begin.
Slick Ability underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered a seizure in the catching pen. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under the provisions of GAR 42, Slick Ability is prohibited from competing in an event until such time as both a veterinary clearance is provided to the satisfaction of Stewards and a Satisfactory Trial is completed pursuant to GAR 132. Further, under the provisions of GAR 42(3), Slick Ability is suspended from racing for 28 days at all tracks.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Sean Van Taarling regarding his conduct in catching pen post-race. A warning for inappropriate behaviour was issued pursuant to GAR 165(a).
