At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 20.4 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18 degrees. Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue, as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy
Bye Pickles – Late scratching at 9:45AM due to weight variation (GAR 101). Bye Pickles is not permitted to compete for 10 days in any other Event. Trainer, Mr. John Mangion, was fined $100.
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Trenton's Beauty.
