Steward's Report
The Stewards were advised that the track was deeply harrowed on 13th October 2025.
An out of competition urine sample was taken from Tinker Liz on 10th October 2025 pursuant to GAR 139.
Pursuant to GAR 75(7), Steward - Mr C. Hon did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Snoopy was quick to begin. Barney Ruslie and Rapid Waterboy were slow to begin.
Snoopy, checked and fell first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right carpal and right sartorius. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Knife Edge, racing manners approaching first turn and turn off the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr S Brincat regarding the racing manners of Knife Edge approaching the first turn and the turn off back straight. After hearing submissions from Mr Brincat, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
Big Mako, checked and fell first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hock sprain and right triangle muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Tinker Lee, contacted the running rail first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an integument to the right hock. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
