Steward's Report
A race day urine sample was taken from Kempton Bale at the trainer’s kennel earlier today.
This event was put back to commence at 6:56pm due to the delay prior to Race 11.
Romena Charm and Squeegee's Ride were quick to begin. Alcatraz Birdman and Shima Harley were slow to begin.
Little Edward (lost ground in the home straight), underwent a post-race veterinary examination. It was reported that Little Edward had sustained a right gracilis muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Satisfactory Trial:
Eco Bale – Blinkers Off – Field of 4, Distance: 400m, Weight: 32.3kg, Box 1, Placed 3rd, Time Run 25.837 – Comment: Not Cleared to race without blinkers. Underwent a post-trial veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Perfect Stranger – Unsatisfactory Performance – Field of 4, Distance: 400m, Weight: 32.1kg, Box 5, Placed 4th, Time Run 25.869 – Comment: Not Cleared, marred Eco Bale multiple times in the home straight.
