In accordance with GAR 41(5), Go Gizmo Go was presented for a re–vet at the conclusion of kennelling as the greyhound was found to be injured at Ballarat on 10/05/2025. Go Gizmo Go was examined by the On–Track Veterinarian and found to be free from injury. Go Gizmo Go was cleared to race. A urine sample was taken for analysis.

Select Faith – Late scratching at 9:33am when Mr. Brett Mackie reported the greyhound to have a hock injury (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate, pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w), before any future nominations will be accepted.

Joelene Lass and Irish Legend were quick to begin.  Irena Bella was slow to begin.

Irena Bella raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Malcolm Carr regarding the racing manners of Irish Legend in the back straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Carr, viewing the available race footage, and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.

Paw Xanthie was quick to begin.

Weblec Poppy was quick to begin.  Point Man was very slow to begin (1L).  My Dear Friend was slow to begin.

Orange Ratio was quick to begin.  Austin Texas was slow to begin.

Swanky Chic, Style Key and Locked And Ready were quick to begin.  Connor's Flyer and Jebediah were slow to begin.

Mighty Star – Late scratching at 1:48PM due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr. Anthony Karabitsakos informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr. Karabitsakos that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.

Faye Valentine was slow to begin.

Supplementary Report – 27/06/2025: The 28 day stand down was removed from Mighty Star after Anthony Karabitsakos provided Stewards with sufficient evidence of the vehicle breakdown. 

Alpha Girl was quick to begin.  Major Mistake and Groovin' were slow to begin.

An out of competition urine sample was taken from Jay's Girl on 23/06/2025, pursuant to GAR 139.

Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Starter Mr. J. Nicholls did not act in any official capacity that may have, in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

Kennel Representative Mr. Peter Inguanti requested an early race endorsement for She Rebel. The On–Track Veterinarian completed an extensive examination prior to racing and found no evidence to support the request and deemed She Rebel fit to start. As such, the Stewards did not approve the early race request.

A pre-race urine sample was taken from Valletta Moon. 

Rupee Trader and She Rebel were quick to begin.  Payton's Pearl was slow to begin.

Payton's Pearl raced wide in the home straight.

This event was delayed until 6:39pm due to a track maintenance issue. 

A pre-race urine sample was taken from Unsurpassed. 

Mandolin Storm amd Nitro Bale were quick to begin.  Unsurpassed and Sweet Tonight were slow to begin.

A race day urine sample was taken from Kempton Bale at the trainer’s kennel earlier today.

This event was put back to commence at 6:56pm due to the delay prior to Race 11.

Romena Charm and Squeegee's Ride were quick to begin.  Alcatraz Birdman and Shima Harley were slow to begin.

Little Edward (lost ground in the home straight), underwent a post-race veterinary examination.  It was reported that Little Edward had sustained a right gracilis muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Satisfactory Trial:

Eco Bale – Blinkers Off – Field of 4, Distance: 400m, Weight: 32.3kg, Box 1, Placed 3rd, Time Run 25.837 – Comment: Not Cleared to race without blinkers. Underwent a post-trial veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Perfect Stranger – Unsatisfactory Performance – Field of 4, Distance: 400m, Weight: 32.1kg, Box 5, Placed 4th, Time Run 25.869 – Comment: Not Cleared, marred Eco Bale multiple times in the home straight. 

Monkey Riot – Fail To Chase – Field of 4, Distance: 400m, Weight: 32.5kg, Box 8, Placed 2nd, Time Run 23.126 – Comment:  Cleared All Tracks, except Sandown & Horsham.
