Steward's Report
Limosa was slow to begin.
Roadwork (contacted the running rail on the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Michael Bewley regarding the racing manners of Blame Wally in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Bewley, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Sweet I Am - the winner of the event.
