Blue Rock was very slow to begin.
Waltzing Pablo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds on the left-fore and left-hind toes. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Max Cameron regarding the racing manners of Waltzing Pablo approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr. Cameron, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
Chloe's Fault underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Geoffrey Howell regarding the racing manners of Chloe's Fault soon after the 150m mark. After hearing submissions from Mr. Howell, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
Stewards noted that no head-on vision was available for this event.
