Steward's Report
An out of competition urine sample was taken from Petite Lee on 3 February 2026 pursuant to GAR 139.
A pre–race urine sample was taken from Petite Lee.
Nando Tuff was slow to begin.
Petite Lee, (turned its head outwards and marred He's A Tycoon turning into the home straight) Stewards spoke to Mr. Anthony Sultana, regarding Petite Lee's racing manners on the turn into the home straight. Mr Sultana declined a post-race veterinary examination. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Petite Lee was charged with marring. Mr Sultana pleaded guilty to the charge. Petite Lee was found guilty and suspended for 28 days. (1st offence) at Warrnambool and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted. Mr. Sultana advised the stewards that Petite Lee will be retired from racing.
He's A Tycoon, (severely checked and fell on the turn into the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right scapula fracture and a toe injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
