Kennel representative Ms. Stephanie Stevanja left the course without having the greyhound examined by the on-track veterinarian. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted for Barefoot Zulu.
A post–race urine sample was taken from Nigel Devere – the winner of the event.
