Steward's Report
A pre-race urine sample was taken Varsity Bale.
Galloping Suzie was quick to begin. Varsity Bale and Sand Dune were slow to begin.
Imposter underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left hind spike wound. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to representative Ms Ruby Kennedy regarding Imposter’s racing manners in the home straight . Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Imposter was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Kennedy pleaded guilty to the charge. Imposter was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
