Steward's Report
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Star Stay.
Quick Strike was quick to begin.
Star Stay (very slow to begin and gave ground to the field throughout the event) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr. Lachlan Scott regarding the bona fides of the scratchings of Magic Scotch and Magic Snowdrop from this event. In accordance with GAR 19(3)(w), Stewards noted Mr. Scott's explanations and ordered that a veterinary certificate of fitness be produced for both Magic Scotch and Magic Snowdrop, before any further nominations are accepted.
