Steward's Report
Warrior Lizzy – Late scratching at 6:55 am due to the greyhound being on season[GAR 76 or 77]. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Dr. Orthello – Late scratching at 10:41am due to weight variation (GAR 101). Dr. Orthello is not permitted to compete for 10 days in any other Event. Trainer, Mr. Marcus Mcmahon was fined $100.
Miss Black and Eagle Bread were quick to begin. Black Smiley went up with the lid and was slow to begin.
Eagle Bread, underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Peter Fiske regarding the racing manners of Eagle Bread on the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mr. Fiske, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Eagle Bread - the winner of the event.
