Rumour I'm Broke and Princess Panda were quick to begin. Paw Veldron and Roads End were slow to begin.
Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Leigh Carter and Mr Chad Harris regarding the racing manners of Paw Veldron on the home turn. After hearing submissions from Mr. Carter and Mr. Harris, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Princess Panda - the winner of the event.
