Steward's Report
Silken Owl and Aston Ojani were slow to begin.
Like Dynamite raced wide in the home straight.
Pandora's Crash (visibly eased turning out of the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the left tibia and a spike wound on the right hock. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Jason Wickham regarding Pandora's Crash's racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Pandora's Crash was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Wickham pleaded guilty to the charge. Pandora's Crash must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Simultaneously (severely checked turning out of the back straight and lost ground thereafter) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Rothwell Kane - the winner of the event.
