Steward's Report
Hoppy was quick to begin.
Heatherly Lomar (marred Hoppy in the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions on the left hindleg. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to owner Mr. Nathan Mcmenanin regarding the racing manners of Heatherly Lomar. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Heatherly Lomar was charged with marring. Mr. Mcmenanin pleaded guilty to the charge. Heatherly Lomar is suspended for 28 days at Shepparton (1st offence) and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
