Steward's Report
Gone For Good was slow to begin.
Gone For Good (marred Minter's Jet on the home turn), underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Grant Masterton regarding Gone For Good’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Gone For Good was charged with marring. Mr. Masterton pleaded guilty to the charge. Gone For Good was suspended for three months (3rd offence) at all tracks and must perform two Satisfactory Trials in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Aston Dutton - the winner of the event.
