Perfectly and Unleash Me were slow to begin.
Super Nugget underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have collapse if not supported by a handler, and suffered a seizure. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under the provisions of GAR 42, Super Nugget is prohibited from competing in an event until such time as both a veterinary clearance is provided to the satisfaction of Stewards and a Satisfactory Trial is completed pursuant to GAR 132. Further, under the provisions of GAR 42(3), Super Nugget is suspended from racing for 28 days at all tracks.

Mrs. Franky pulled up in the back straight and raced back in the opposite direction, in the best interests of safety for all greyhounds, participants and staff, the decision was made to allow the remaining greyhounds to catch the lure in the home straight. As a result the Satisfactory trial was abandend.
